Love on duty,
light scattering wide—
when light enters,
it miraculously unmakes
my false image.
My Love points a finger
through the hole in the sky.
'I am here! I am here! '
it declares.
'Throw away these pieces.
They do not belong to you,
not here, not now, not ever.
Meet me today,
beneath this sky, present always.
My sun spills light from above,
leaving no corner untouched.
The truths I give you—
live with them in every breath,
until every breath says:
God is Love.'
These words, a sudden challenge,
hum within me,
waiting for my understanding;
This revelation, joined by zikr,
litanies whispered in the heart—
Truth, as water,
giving life to parched lands
and thirsty souls.
I trust it too deeply to question.
Divine intelligence grinds
the ego into dust.
A keeper, stern yet gentle,
cuts the wings of birds
whose flight is dull,
grounded by fears and doubts.
Perhaps this separation
is my final illusion,
the curtain fell long ago,
and I missed it.
But still, thanks be to Him—
He takes me in His embrace,
his warmth like a river,
washing away the last remnants
of my former self,
leaving me whole,
rooted in His love.
