Love One Another Poem by Sylvestre NSENGIMANA

Love One Another

Love one another.
Leave this world more beautiful than you have found it.

This is neither just a sentence
Nor a saying from scouts;
It is a reality.

In John 13: 34, the Bible says
That the new command we have
Is to love one another
As Jesus has loved humans.

See, a wounded body hurts like hell,
Destructions, insecurities and intense storms
Spinning inside the blood.

Imagine a world without violence,
Without betrayal,
Without wars!
A home of love and peace,
Flowing and flying like mountain bees!

This world is so imaginary in this world,
But this world is possible
If we keep and understand these words;
'Love one another.'

Loving one another is not selfish.
Loving one another is feeling one another.
If I can get hungry, you can as well.

I need peace in my home,
Security of my family,
Respect for my religion,
Respect of my ways of thinking,
So, you do...

When we love one another,
We accept one another.
No black, no white
No fat, no slim
No rich, no poor
We are all humans.

When we love one another,
Injustice becomes past tense.
No racism, no judgements
No nothing, we are the world.
I am because you are
That's Ubuntu.

Imagine the world without violence,
The world without betrayal,
Without wars;
A home of love and peace,
Flowing and flying like mountain bees!

This world is so imaginary in this world,
But this world is possible
If we keep and understand these words;
Love one another,
LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
