Love Or Pain
It wasn't all that long ago
I lost the mate to my soul
Time has helped with the lost
The solace has come at a cost
The tender kisses I barely recall
My memories impeded by a stonewall
I find myself longing for pain
That once held me in its chains
All I ever ask of life
Strength to deal with strife
If my choices are love or pain
Let either one in my heart reign
