You are the quiet rhyme beneath my lines,
The hidden music woven through my days.
Each word I write leans softly toward your light,
As rivers turn toward the sea without a choice.
You live between the pauses of my verses,
In every metaphor my heart invents.
The poem may wear ink upon the page,
But you are where its true meaning begins.
If every star were gathered into language,
And every dawn translated into song,
They still could not describe the simple wonder
Of finding you—and loving you this long.
So when my poem speaks of beauty,
Know it borrows all its grace from you;
For every verse I write is only trying
To say the oldest truth: I love you.
