There will be times
When your hormones
Speak of love

Do not be fooled
After the victory dance
The hormones sated
Your world will be
Prose again
Till the greedy are needy
And don the mask
Of love, once more

When real Love speaks
Even without words
It speaks of surrender
Not of victory
It speaks of belonging
Now and forever

It means what it says
Taking you on a high
And keeping you there
Regardless of what
The hormones crave
Now and then….
