Love Remains... Poem by Adrian Wait

Love Remains...

Rating: 5.0

When childhood is forsaken
And Mum or Dad can no longer fix things
Love Remains

When dreams are Shattered
Storm of fears rage to drown us
Love Remains

When the hill is too steep to climb
And the will to go on is fading fast
Love Remains

When our Heart bleeding and broken
When darkness seeks to consume
Love Remains

When the summer heat of Passion
Turns to a fond familiarity
Love Remains

As the years advance, and race in time
When Memories become our Barm
Love Remains

When the time-stopping pain of Grief arrives
And nothing is worth living for...
Love Remains

When the moment we reach our end
When the loss is a forced reality
Love remains

When we draw the final Breath
The Sting of Death is in the Parting
Love Remains

And When this Life is over
All fears proven dupes and liars
Love Remains
