Love Song Poem by Adam Berman

Love Song

Rating: 5.0

We'd be together- we'd be apart
until the angels would gather- the fools would become smart

and we'd be loving, and we'd be shoving
and kissing and missing
and you'd see the dead sea- with the salt in your eyes
we'd lay naked and from the sand we would rise
from the water to the skies
and float like butterflies
Me and you

If you were mine; there'd be no time
And I would love you
and I would trust you
and I would laugh with you...always

We'd be two- we'd be one
until the soilders would gather and the israel would be returned its loved one

and we'd be caring, and we'd be daring
and beating and leading
and you'd see- the queen bee- with the honey in your lips
we'd lay naked in the bushes and play tricks
from the sunflower to the bricks
Pinch and blush our cheeks
Me and you

If you were mine; there'd be no time
And I would love you
and I would trust you
and I would laugh with you...always

We'd be short- we'd be neverending
until the astronauts would gather and the moon would do the landing

and we'd be chewing and renewing
and blowing and knowing
and you'd see- the tressure key with the lock in your figure
we'd lay naked in the back of a car and remain eager
from smaller to the bigger
load and pull the trigger
Me and you

If you were mine; there'd be no time
And I would love you
and I would trust you
and I would laugh with you...always

We'd be modest- we'd be true
until the homeless would gather and money would have to find something better to do

And we'd be giving and living
and meeting and needing
and you'd see- reality with the truth in your eyes
we'd lay naked in the clouds and touch the skies
from the up close jet birds to the rainbow
No limits would we know
Me and you

If you were mine; there'd be no time
And I would love you
and I would trust you
and I would laugh with you...always

We'd be -, we'd be Adam
until the oceans would gather and the landlord would let them

and we'd be swimming and dimming
dreaming and leaning
and you'd see- me in the back of your mind
we'd lay naked in the water color blind
from the 4 corners of the earth we would give birth
to a love that's one of a kind
Me and you
