Love The Sweetest Scent Poem by Leaking Pen

Love The Sweetest Scent

Rating: 5.0

Love is the sweetest scent
From the heart of what
Can be described as hope
From the breath of a newborn.

Love newly formed honey milk
From mothers' giving breasts
Nourish the heartbeat of life
Propels earth's dancing feet.

Love the rarest blossom of God
The true God forms the new spoken word
Dwells in every smile, each time
Nature rings spring wedding bells.

Pure love free the confine of rhymes
Where the spirit uplifts, unharnessed
To heights no dreams can possibly reach
Not bound by gravity or contrived motions.

Love gazes gently at the tombstone of a virgin
Whose life we don't know why or when it fled
Letters and numbers froze the annals of time
Love touches us beyond the confine of Einstein's universe.

When the soul of love gives itself unconditionally
Love's magnet propels its energy
Its nuances every surface forms a wing's lift
No slave or master shackles down its passage to flight!

Come home to me my love my light
Shine your wick flame bright inside my heart
There is hope lurking in the darkness of my art
I submit my Pen, your thoughts guide my thoughts

I found my way to the valley of tranquility
And the highest peaks where purity of its air clears my vision
I've traveled the world, the universe, and the galleries in my mind
To discover the scent of love resides across the table from me.

Home sweet home where the heart dwells
Heart of the forest the greenest canopy
Love contagious bursts like a wild fire
Cleanses the soul from the old dead brushes.

My return fought with trial and tribulations
No road to paradise ever paved with gold
From the valley of despair and stubborn inquisition
Home the sweetest scent of love a heartbeat away.

Love is the sweetest scent
From the heart of what
Can be only described as hope
From the breath of a newborn!

Home is where the heart is and love content to dwell. A lovely poem I enjoyed every line.
