Love Thoughts From Home Poem by Yogi Sally Ann Slight

Here's a little story,
to the Para that I Love,
just a few good words,
sent from Heaven up above.
I've written cos I miss you,
I've written cos I care,
I've written just to show you,
you're still loved while over there.
 
I'd whisper words of Love to you,
but now the Comms are down,
my special thoughts of my True Love,
are flying through the town.
I've sent them on their way to you,
they know just what to do,
just like a carrier pigeon,
sent with Love, but not the poo!
 
They can never tire
or even loose their way,
they reach your big heart hot and fresh,
cos I sent them all that way.
So, when you get a feeling
and think loving thoughts of me,
my thoughts are to remind you,
I am waiting patiently.
 
My heart is full of Love for you
and I sent it all, and pray
that you accept my gift of Love
sent to your heart this way.
No words can ever tell you
just what you mean to me,
so my Love, I will keep sending,
Truth, Love, Trust and Loyalty.
