Planted Seeds In A Paratrooper Poem by Yogi Sally Ann Slight

Planted Seeds In A Paratrooper

I thought that Love would come and go
and now I feel it start to grow,
like a seed planted deep within
and brought to me on his sweet grin,
and just to look upon his face,
I have been blessed by his saving grace.

No more for me, alone to be,
when this old Para returns to me,
and when I meet him at Heathrow,
then all the whole wide world will know,
a Para lives for his duty
and that means so very much to me.

Do unto others, as you would have them do,
and so I give my heart to you.
Do with it as you see fit
and let the Love stay in your kit,
and when your kit bag starts to stink,
you'll look inside and you will think,
of she that gave her heart away,
to her brave Para on his birthday!

well.! ...reading that again certainly makes me think that you really must be careful about what you write or predict for your future....blimey! ....I could get myself into big trouble! Thank you Jesus for your Grace in showing me how blinking silly we can be! Now! ....if the Para is not mine by Divine right or in the Divine Plan...then it's probably for the best that this be dissolved and dissipated in the nicest and most Divinely correct way....thanks very much Peace be with him and his family
