Time has passed,
And despite the distance,
Forgetfulness hasn’t come.
You still buried in my heart.
And though my mind is blind to forget,
My hearth,
My foolish heart always reminds me
That even in the distance,
Our love will remain,
But buried deep, deep, In my foolish hearth.
The poem evokes dual feelings, those of immense pleasure and immense sadness. It's a pleasure to know that time has not been able to wear out your love for him (someone) who you keep deeply buried in your 'foolish' heart. Lucky is s/he who gets such pure love in life. One feels sad when one reads your notes about the poem to know that your 'love is impossible'. Touchy indeed.
