Intruding on my peaceful night
There's a thought of you that lingers in sight
Holding her pressed against you
It pains me to see you forget me

I turn away in shame and dismay
How did I let you make me feel this way
Can I shut it down the love I hold
So scared now to let it unfold

Truth is your actions are unworthy
So why do I hold this love that's so earthy
Buried in my chest so deep
Wrapped around the blade you wield
