Love Vs Hate Poem by Kranti Kishore

Love Vs Hate

A lost soul wanders in the wilderness,
Crushing blades of grass under the swaying bows;
It sets out to seek the venerable truth,
For the destiny that dictates life's ruth.

It scurries down a narrow tread,
Dissects the kingdoms of love and hate;
Laden with wreaths of slaughtered tulip,
Rotten in the torrential bloodshed drip.

Hate inhabits a guarded fortress,
Impregnable walls of stubborness;
Massive charred doors of prejudice
Emblind the mystic subtle sense.

Love is an abode of refreshing breeze,
of free thinking and open seas;
Pleasure and patiencelooms all over,
Sanguine soothe at the slightest whimper.

Arrows of venom ravish the peaceful air,
Disturbing cannon-balls hurl despair;
Hate cacophony echoes around loud and stale,
Riding on human ego in a joyous regale.

Lively love delivers a generous smile,
An austere aura belittles the destructive guile,
Symphonies roll out of a heal-tambourine,
Birth of mirth expels the bane.

The lone soul still wanders in wonder,
shocked and confused, what happened yonder?
Misled human sense follows the charlatan piper,
Sublimed by ego and greed into thin vapour.
