Love Wants Not To Be Denied Poem by Gio Masserati

Love Wants Not To Be Denied

Love wants not to be denied

But...
Your ego is a landmine
A ticking timebomb
I don't want to watch it

Explode

I'll be there, though
To pick up all the pieces
(If you want me to)
Finally then, you'll know

Your vanity's unsettling
I read you like a saga book
I find you very interesting
Your crannies and your nooks

I want to taste your courage
I want to kiss your eyes
I want to see tomorrow
In dreams you keep denied

Your narcissistic behaviors
Are oozing on my love
I look through messy telescopes
Revealing secrets from above

Facades come crumbling down
Around you
Tearing walls out fast
Distrust
Deciept
Hate
Hurt
Anger
Pain

The hauntings of your past

It's all there for the shedding
Waiting just for you...

Come on dear
I'm waiting
For you to say it

For you to say
