Love Was The Legends, Us Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Love Was The Legends, Us

Love Was The Legends, Us

Love was a beautiful face
Love was a radiant smile a curious look and an awakening,
Something was alive and walking,

Love is an inward pensive dessetations, deliberations for options or a denouement,

Love was a stranger
knocking at your chamber doors
Unexplaining with his confiding riddle
and you were trying to unlockher/him with a key,

And you half noticed
He was already inside your room and your heart, and she was staying,

And love was an ancient tale and myths,
Undressed with thetenderness,
Ensconced in the mysteries and the riddles of mother earth,
The tandemswelcoming the unanounced arrivals,

It was the howlings of the wind, in our eardrums,
It was the felttremors withindeep earth, the thunders,
The truth, the finalbite of the apple,

It was the baptism of fire,
It was the church of man,
A divine revelation for an adventure,

Hear o hear the calls from heaven,
Hear her endorsing love songs and sing,
The sons and daughters to be wedded,
And the rites to be performed,

How the moistened soils grew, transformed into a beautiful garden
planted with the seeds to became the
legends, us
Aman and a woman and the garden of Eden.
