Love With A Twist Poem by Payal Priya

Love With A Twist

I dive into your dark black eyes
To get the pearl of feelings.
I place my desires on your lips
With the warmth of love, time freezes.
I can feel you in my veins.
My heart races as I wait,
You come online -
I can't stop smiling,
Tumults of joy and pain.
If only it weren't your photograph but you
If only world wasn't virtual but true.
If only you felt as I do
Does real love has any chance to bloom
In a world so tech savvy and new?
There is no poetry in the lover's gaze
We can't express simply
As our ancestor's said.
No music on beloved's closed eyelids
Just last seen, changing of profile pics
An endless unreal pining.
And a love with a twist
