Progress Poem by Payal Priya

Progress

Rating: 5.0

From fake people to virtual friends,
Ugly fights with trolling replaced
The recluse circumscribed in video games.
Editing photos as we painted face,
Now pretend online as well.
Friendship, feeling, conversations
All feigned.
We have travelled long on a circular lane.
Astounding progress.

To some extent, all users of social media share the views expressed by the poet. The virtual world has replaced genuine feelings and concerns for one another with superfluousness. A complex situation expressed with commendable ease. Loved reading it. Thanks for sharing. Friendship, feeling, conversations All feigned.
