Welcome to Lake Shasta!
Where sunrise is rich
Like diamonds pearled on the aisle
Of a gallant step ashore
Pair of ducks, side by side,
Two lovers eloping to mate
Wavelets come teasing your feet
While they fare to go deep
In the night fall,
To lie under the moonlight,
And watch the starry sky,
With strings of wave's in tune
To the crickets chirping
You're welcomed again
From the deep woods,
The choir of birds brings
Echoes of children's laughter,
To this atmospheric indulgence
Nature is surreal
