Dean Meredith

Lovely Normal - Poem by Dean Meredith

She was
Joan Baez
Debra Harry
Joni Mitchell

He was
Bob Dylan
Leonard, Hank
Not much else
So many maybes

She said
Don't call me
He said nothing
But complied

And all was well
On the surface
Of their dreams
But below
They felt

He saw her
From a distance
As she did
