Lover Love Over Poem by Scarlett Irvine

Lover Love Over

I looked up to you
And as broken to know you as being strangers
The serpent has taken her own tail
And the ocean to crush the machine
All hate, all love, all for you
The stupidness that I could not break from caring
The stupor you could not wake from
You are hated from me also
Your beauty is haggard,
I do not want the dream.
Only to vanquish your never ending
nightmare
And tear you as the shad
You are silver dross my finned one
I weep inside for you
