Lovers - Poem by Victoria M. Lemmons

Grip tightly my hand as we go, never allow your fear to show.
As quietly as you can move forward, leave behind the past.
Live for us at long last, not for all those other.
Hold on to the dreams, things are not as they seem.
God would not allow you to suffer, kiss me now and forever
more
Our lives have plenty of happiness in store. We shall always be
lovers.
