You broke the chain that was purest of love
you took an old rusted knife and carved at my heart
until it was slaughtered in two

the knife used to cut my palms
I bled deeper from within
crying out pain
not by physical harm

but by your torn brutal words
and actions to follow
you took what we had
and lost all meaning

of the words I use to say
and meant nothing at all
I reached out for a hand
and all you did was stare

at bleeding wounded lover-ex
we were no longer
so you didn't care
you wished it all away

and everything I was
I had to redo
cause I lost it all in you
you left me there all alone and scared

too bad you didn't know
ill live longer than you
what doesn't kill me makes me stronger
baby you'll drown in your sorrow

without me in your life
you are no longer what you use to be
cause your lover-ex has left you by yourself
all alone cold

but don't worry baby
you know me
ill come back when you
deserve me

cause we both felt pain
that we did to each other
the words you never meant are floating in the air
please say then like you mean them

and when you don't ill just walk away
leaving what's left of his lies
im gone now forever
after saving him again

I still love him, but wont ever mean it too
