**lovers In Paradise Poem by Jon Alan

**lovers In Paradise

Rating: 2.9

Let us stay here now, forever, You and I.
Let us stay in Summer's sweetness
with the dew drops in our hair
And the scented smells of soft sweet roses
floating in the air.
With the sorrows left behind us that would
have kept us there
Let us stay here, now, forever, if we dare.

When the moon cried out to my soul, alone,
'Seek for what ye yearn'.
I answered to the pale white orb
'My soul will always burn'.

'Seek for what ye yearn.' Again I heard the voices cry
And I answered to the Heavens with a painful lonely sigh,
'I cannot quench the sorrow that has burned me to he core.'
'And now the Ocean calls me ever closer to the shore'.

'But wait, the Ocean's always there,
'But Love will come and go,
'And once the water is your home
'You will not Love us so.'

'Don't give up so soon, ' they called
And I agreed to wait
And then you came and crossed my path
And Time stood still, and Fate? '

Let us stay here now forever, you and I.
