Loves Everlasting Year Poem by Royston Allen

Loves Everlasting Year

In the springtime our love blossomed and grew
each day filled with wonder and each year new.
I'm still yours my beloved and you're mine,
‘though we've drunk the last of summers wine.

When autumn had passed with its changing scene
we shared memories of how life had been.
Now wintertime still finds us arm in arm
protecting each other from twilights harm

We have aged my dearest, both you and I
but will hold each other's hands ‘til we die.
Death and the grave shall not separate us
from our lifetime together in Jesus.
