Loves Silent Departure Poem by jeannetta harris

Loves Silent Departure

Mirrored droplets cascade down my face
Each one reflecting the pain I hold within
Staring into the tear made puddle
Memories of you swimming within
Trying to find happiness amongst the sadness
Realizing deceit was the foundation of our love
When all my crying is done
Having washed my hands of you
I shall resurrect my pride
Treasuring the lesson I have learned
I shall never be afraid to love
For my true love is out there
Waiting for the moment we collide

This is a beutifully narrated poem on the emotional outbursts of the mind - on LOVE. This is a very good read..... I specifically like the closing lines...... Treasuring the lesson I have learned I shall never be afraid to love For my true love is out there Waiting for the moment we collide
