Love-Struck Poem by Vidur Mohta

Love-Struck

This notion of worth,
Something in dearth,

Inkling of trust,
A fresh burst,

Warmness of belonging,
I was always longing,

Contemplation it brings,
Musing without winks,

Questions in galore,
Always standing tall,

What is it?
Why do I crave your touch so?
Feel elated with your hands in mine?
I always need you to survive?

What phrase should I use,
To set my emotion loose,

Express the feelings I garner,
I feel like a learner,

To a person like you,
I met out of the blue,

Who stayed by my side,
Through thick, thin and hard,

Through freezing chill,
By will and still,

I can never find the words,
To tell you how I feel.
