Vidur Mohta Poems

Surreptitiously the feeling crawled in,
Barricades and defenses failed,
The coldness of heart melted away,
Giving fuel to desires innate,
...

The sojourn of sadness,
The sinking feeling abreast,
Loosing oneself in memories,
And not finding any rest.
...

My innuendoes fall on deaf ears,
I hark back past fears,
The relic of the urge expressed,
Dressed in a suit of regret,
...

The epilogue of life,
The ambivalence at peak,
The countenance of hate,
The mutiny increased,
...

Idioms falter,
Speech diminishes,
Heart flutters,
Hidden wishes.
...

Looking at the shards now scattered,
Of a life lived in anguish,
Simmering in the envisaged myriad,
Of amber colored pain,
...

Years pass by,
Ferns grow tall,
Seasons change,
Yet I live on.
...

Life lived in bliss,
Carefree and in remiss,
Under the false pretense,
That we dominate consequence,
...

A dollop of sunshine,
In my pocket I carry,
With happiness beaming,
And a twitch caressing the lips,
...

Titrations, Tribulations and Trepidation,
Feelings blanched into gumption,
Implanted despite the loud humdrum,
Of righteousness with exclamation.
...

Sauntering a hope,
A simmering cloak,
A positive flow,
Harboring a glow,
...

When your day would start with ‘Grey',
Exploring the dark epiphany that life is,
You need a figure, a friend, a confidant,
Who motivates you to see the light in a cave.
...

Vagaries, we might think,
But a master-plan is always abreast,
Running the course as intended,
Envisioned at the throne in firmament,
...

Singing the factitious tune,
Of a well adhered belief,
That two souls aren't connected,
Unless they add to the species.
...

The morning breeze blew, with a stance,
Casting shadows of grievance,
The raging gust louder than life,
Painting an agonizing sight.
...

Red like the cherry,
Juicy ripe and merry.

Dreamy fragrant rose,
...

This notion of worth,
Something in dearth,

Inkling of trust,
...

He wrote the lyrics,
Bright and full of elation,
I wondered whence came they?
I enjoy the rhyme,
...

When I feel down, on the low,
No amount of cheer can get me to glow,
When each word seems a tirade,
Ears numb, and faces like charade.
...

Feeling dejected, anguished or low,
Worried about who would accept you,
Or maybe someone who would not.

The Feeling Called - Love

Surreptitiously the feeling crawled in,
Barricades and defenses failed,
The coldness of heart melted away,
Giving fuel to desires innate,
Deriding my love for solitude,
The mind tried to gibe it all away,
Yet, I swing to the songs now,
An unfathomable oneiric depth, I betray,
My heart feels warm and fuzzy,
The feeling overbearing the sane-ness away,
I can finally say, the sun shone on me,
Yes, the moon too is brighter today.
