Lovetime Poem by Joe Ragland, J.D. Irene Bruno, Ph.D.

The snow of winter has all melted away,
Beautiful roses blooming this Spring day. j
A new season is beginning today,
For the Lord has said, He will make a way. i

God’s shining banner over us is love,
As strong as a lion and gentle as a dove. j
He watches us from the heavens above,
As He shed His blood for us in pure love. i

Laughing in joy as we tell His story,
Christ in us the hope of glory. j
He gave His life for you and me,
Blessed and holy so we could be free. i

Walking in wisdom He opens a door,
Laughing on eagles’ wings we soar. j
A light so bright it is difficult to see,
His glory shines on what He wants us to be. i

Loving God’s love keeps our banner bright,
Walking together in peace and might. j
Rejoice and celebrate for the battle is won,
For God gave for us His only begotten Son. i

Splendor of His love on us so holy and pure,
God’s love never fails so our lovetime will endure. j
As we wait upon Him our trust and strength grow,
Filled with love as He reveals what He wants us to know. i

May we walk in love and glorify God as we sing,
Not compromising our gifts & calling for anything. j
May we follow Jesus Christ to wherever He leads,
To be the “Wheat” and not the Weeds.” i

We celebrate Jesus, our Lord, throughout the day,
Rejoicing and dancing knowing He is making a way. j
Just as a flame shines, darkness can no longer be,
Rejoicing in Him for the truth has made us free. i

What is this blessed oneness shining like the dawn?
A pleasant surprise from Heaven, even our new song. j
A new day blessed with the aroma of love from above,
Covered with His blood and the gentleness of a dove. i

The Lord our Good Shepherd leads us forth with peace,
His love, anointing, and favor, on our oneness will not cease. j
The overflowing of his goodness with warm loving care,
With a new season from Heaven so beautiful and rare. i

Chosen for service in His Majesty’s end-time glorious hour,
Ministering under the anointing in love, peace, and power. j
For it is written when two or more agree, what is spoken shall be,
The God of miracles, blessings and overflow is waiting for us to see. i

We minister in boldness with power, love, and grace,
Glorifying the Name of Jesus as we seek His smiling face. j
Reaching out with the Word of God and hoping to touch their heart,
For it is only through Jesus Christ that they may have a new start. i

Wearing the armor of God we put ten thousand to flight;
Running His race hand-in-hand in love, joy, and might. j
When we worship our God in Spirit and in Truth;
He gives us freedom and restores the years from our youth. i

Surely His presence and angels go before us as we run His race;
In faith, hope, and love we boldly approach His Throne of Grace. j
Overwhelmed by His presence we fall to our face,
Just resting and soaking in His glorious embrace. i

We abide under the shadow of His banner of love,
Receiving blessings and plans from Heaven above. j
We wait upon the Lord’s mighty command,
So as we go forth we will possess the land. i

Heaven has wonderful plans for you and me,
To preach the Good News to set the captives free. j
The Lord smiles down on you and me,
As we stand in the gap and make the devil flee. i

We boldly go where no couple has gone before,
The Lord goes before us and opens every door. j
I do not know what the Lord’s plans are Love,
But I shall wait upon the Lord patiently as a dove. i

We run with love and patience the race set before,
Trusting the Lord to open and close every door. j
For with each breath we anxiously wait,
For we know the Lord is never late. i

Helping others we will laugh the most,
For in the love of Jesus we will truly boast. j
The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is He,
And all shall know on that day on bended knee. i

God gives smiles, songs, and the gift of love,
Our hearts full of mercy and grace from above. j
God gave His only Son, the ultimate of love,
So that we could receive all the promises from above. i

We abide as one branch in love and unity in the Vine,
Our God of the “second chance” redeems the time. j
From Barrenness to fruitfulness our branches will be,
For it is our lovetime that the Lord wants us to see. i

We indeed produce beautiful fruit of love for His glory,
In unity sharing and telling others the Full Gospel story. j
It is in your presence that we are consumed by You,
From glory to glory we abide in You, all that we do. i

A tapestry woven by God with beautiful three strain cords,
We are so happy and blessed as Jesus is truly our Lord. j
A robe of righteousness given to us with colors divine,
Blessings and the favor of the Lord await us in endless time. i

To everything there is a season, a reason, and a rhyme,
Smiles, laughter, walking hand-in-hand, and lovetime. j
As we breathe in the fragrance that surrounds us so dear,
The joy of the Lord gives us strength and removes all fear. i

Our ministry spreads the sweet aroma of His grace,
Preaching the Gospel brings a smile on Jesus’ face. j
In obedience and faith we accept the call that God has given,
To spread the “Good News” that all can be forgiven. i

Walking side-by-side and arm-in-arm doing God’s plan,
Boldly proclaiming the love of Jesus throughout the land. j
Dreaming of things of the Most High,
There is nothing through Christ that He will deny. i

We love, bless, and praise God as we rejoice in Him,
The eyes of our understanding will never grow dim. j
From the rising of the sun to the closing of a day,
There is no mountain we can not climb nor a path without a way. i

Our Good Shepherd speaks and we joyfully obey,
Doing the works of Jesus while it is day. j
He opens the door of our hearts with love,
Pouring out blessings from the heavens above. i

The Kingdom of Heaven we boldly proclaim,
To destroy the works of darkness is our aim. j
From dawn to dusk doing what the Lord requires,
For in obedience and truth God fulfills the hearts desires. i

From Jesus’ wounds He did suffer and bleed,
By His Blood and by His Word we will succeed. j
Our strength comes from the joy of the Lord,
And His word cuts like a double edge sword. i

Jesus is the Rose and His fragrance of love in us is blowing,
Spreading sweet aroma to others wherever we are going. j
Waiting on and trusting in the Lord in all that we do,
Only He knows the paths that we are to walk through. i

Thank You Good Shepherd that You love your sheep so,
Anointing us to minister Your love and grace wherever we go. j
With compassion and joy we embrace those You send our way,
As you cover us with Your Blood all the night and all the day. i

Let us boldly magnify and celebrate the Lord together,
Walking hand-in-hand enjoying lovely Spring weather. j
May the Lord lead us by day and lead us by night,
May all we do and all we say be beautiful in His sight. i

We speak things in faith that be not as though they are,
Enjoying God’s best He brought us love from a far. j
He honors us with His blessings from above,
For He tells us that the greatest gift for us is love. i
