Loving A Psychopath Poem by Tallulah Cereza

Loving A Psychopath

it fascinates me how your foot
always steps
right in front of the other
you walk in perfect sync
it's beauty at its finest

i can't wait to see
the curves of your naked shadow
and kiss your dorsum
it really turns me on

before i could even
think
say no
say yes
say
what?
a tiny cherry found its way
to my ankle
and a sunflower
below my right breast

your body is so proportional
and feminine
I can't wait to hold it down
gently
and
strap you to the bed

before i could even
think
say no
say yes
say
what?
a tiny scratch found its way
below my left eyebrow
it doesn't even hurt really
it's just a marking of territory

here are all my paintings
all my poems
welcome to my mind

before tomorrow
he leaves
but somehow,
i'm still afraid
to touch another
it's like he's still
holding a knife to my throat
you are mine
and always will be
just face it,
you're trapped
