Loyality Poem by Pierre Rausch

Loyality

And opened my laptop to check the mails
Watching silly sitcoms on TV
I closed my eyes for a second
She had that effect on us

Tuesday night, and set four chairs around
Where the meeting will forever be
Let there shine a light
And draw the crystal on my shirt

Friday night, I have to admit
To study business or drink
Through the screen door
Swinging the roll of paper

And opened my laptop to check the mails
Watching silly sitcoms on TV
I closed my eyes for a second
She had that effect on us

In my small corner of the universe
Framed paintings of sunflowers
Framed paintings of sunflowers
To the right of the foyer

In my small corner of the universe
The jam is sweet on the door frame
The jam is sweet not the door frame
She looked at me again

In my small corner of the universe
The jam is sweet on the door frame
The jam is sweet not the door frame
She looked at me again
