Lullaby Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Lullaby

As you get settled down in your bed,
Be sure that you rest your weary head.
You can drift off as you close your eyes,
For I'm going to sing you a lullaby.

It's time to settle down for the night,
And just relax as I turn off the light.
There is no reason to fear or cry,
Because I'm going to sing you a lullaby.

Rest your body and drift off to sleep,
May your dreams be peaceful and deep.
You can get the rest in which you rely,
As I begin to sing you this lullaby.

Forget about all of your pain and woes,
As you snuggle up from head to toes.
Tomorrow is another day you can try,
After I sing you to sleep with a lullaby.
