Lumeé Poem by empty shell

Lumeé

Lumeé stands between me and the moon
fist clenched tight and knuckles white
Her sweaty hand holding my alabaster heart
a tattooed love stone

Through gossamer shears her body silhouettes
while her palpating heart beats for my ears
Her long flowing locks are coloured with sun
framing, soft love-filled eyes

With knotted stomach and flowing tongue
she weaves words that aim for your head
Contagious thoughts, sprinkled with smiles
such gorgeous frontal lobes

Lumeé dances a storm, all to herself
she whirls, dips and pirouettes
While thoughts of us dance in her head
fuelling a musical heart

Lumeé you make it so easy
While sometimes life makes it hard
Your happiness is my one payment
I’m so glad you are who you are
