Luna Poem by Maria Makeski

Luna

The dazzling shine
Of the full Luna
Providing our faces light
While we sit on the shore
And eat tuna,
We wish to be fishes
To swim freely in the oceans
And to reach the deep life
Where nothing,
But dangerous eyes stare at us
Giving a word of caution
To go back on the shore
And sit on the floor
Where humans are supposed to live
Making love tonight
Having a romantic sight
Of the sky,
And dream again of being
Two little fishes
Who won’t end up in our dishes
Interesting,
When we are in love,
Dreams don’t die...
