Lunch At Shorty Smalls - Poem by Marilyn Lott

You would know the place immediately
Shorty Smalls restaurant I mean
For high above our head we found
Something you would never dream

It was a pick-up truck on stilts
You really had to crane your neck
To see the thing up so high
Not easy to put there I’ll bet

But it certainly was exciting
For the fajita’s were fit for a king
If you saw them and smelled them
You would definitely see what I mean

The taco salad was so amazing
It had all the right fresh ingredients
Ah yes, you should have been there
To share in our great experience

So if you want the perfect place to eat
Whether winter summer or even fall
Then I’d love to recommend to you
The delicious food at Short Smalls!
