Lunch At The Bricks

Poem by Marilyn Lott

Hungry for a delicious lunch?
I’ll be glad to tell you where to go
Down-home country cookin’
The kind that we all love so

There is such a feeling of welcome
When you walk through the door
Set your taste buds for delectable food
‘Cause this is what they’re famous for

Yummy looking taters fixed
The way you love them best
Just the perfect blend of flavors
Automatically without request

And the cheese fries, oh my dear
You’ll never believe the taste
You’ll eat every single one
Nothing will go to waste

Fried chicken and scrumptious slaw
These dishes are perfectly fixed
A place you’ll put at the top of your list
Right after having lunch at Bricks!
