Lydie Poem by Solene O'Brien

Lydie

There's a scent I can't forget
And it sets my cells on fire
I miss home, the one you created
I want it always in me, an instinct for safety.
Lydie, I love you.
Leading me through life
As a daughter of an angel, I promise I will try
To keep all these things inside, forever
We were always meant to be, mother and daughter.
