As vulnerable as you could be
You carried around yourself a special light
Even tho u coudn´t even see
Like a rose that´s too fragile to the touch
Your petals were slowly shredded
By those you gave yourself the most
Yet that wasn´t enough
You had people dreaming of you
Wanting to get lost in your curls
People wanting to be like you
Except you wanted to be out of that world
Never afraid to learn, always yearning for more
Letting your heart guide you
To the places where your mind should go
Surrounded by tons of human beings
But you were left alone to live a broken dream
In my silent prayer I speak to you at times
Asking you to dry the tears I cry
And I know you´re still there
Cause at night, in my dreams
I may not see your face
But I feel your light.
