may i be tougher
when i feel like caving in
and not taking one step further
may i be wiser
when i feel like the burden´s too heavy
for me, and doubts leave my thoughts unclear
may i be faithful
when i feel like my prayers won´t be answered
when i feel disconnected from my ancient beliefs
may i be true
to myself and to those that i know won´t ever forsake me
may i resist and forever insist
on every lesson i have learned and everything i have yearned
good things come for those who wait
even tho some ppl may test my faith
may i rise
after every fall..
may i smile
after every shed tear
may i be strong and determined
before any possible fear
may i be
everything i can possibly be
cause i know part of u lies in me
