Mable Dodd

Rating: 3.0

Grandma i miss you so much
i dont reamber alot of the stuff we did together
and that is what weighs my heart
you laid in that bed for eight years
and we would come to visit
after you couldnt walk or talk is when i felt so weird
when you die my mother cried and so did i
because i do reamber some of those wonderful times we had together
like when mom was working
she would let me stay with you
and you would let me stay up so late that i couldnt keep my eyes open
i reamber you planting gardens
that were taller than i
i reamber crawling in the garden so you couldnt see me and eating all the tomatoes
the one thing i reamber the most was us in the garage
cracking and eating walnuts untill out hands were black
i also reamber when you got you hair permed
i hated that smell
or carbing pumpkins in the kitchen
or opening presents on christmas
I have some picture of us together
but i was so small
i wish you could of lived longer but could of been healthy
so you could see me become a great woman like you
but i am only 13
and your not here
you wernt even here when i was only enough to have a conversation
but thats not your fault
your such a great lady
and the good lord saw that
and wanted such a great lady to be with again
but we well meet again
and i will get to meet the woman who loved me so much
i love you grandma
and we will be together someday! !
