Mad Hyenas Poem by Simpa Omoluabi

Mad Hyenas

Searching for the footprints of an outcast
Infuriating hyenas of bat town
Mad hyenas led by the bat get down
Passionately to business to make fast
Answers which in their theft they've stolen
Outright from their crafty ways so rotten
Murderous searching for the outcast they make
Ophidian moves, foxiest moves of the snake
Looking for the white lion for to murder.
Unbelievable you'd say and shudder
After you have gotten the clear picture
Brought on by the hyenas of torture
Inspired by their bat the bat town king
Who in infamy with hyenas sing.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
One of the acrostic styled sonnets I have written this year, acrostic styled in my name spelt out in the first thirteen lines, and this very one titled 'Mad Hyenas is the eight of it which I am having published on this poetry platform. I actually wrote it this morning, actually the first thing I did this morning of the 20th of February 2019.
