People scream for everything,
But they can't say please.
They laugh and dream of everything,
But they never bleed.
And I have seen
All their smiles,
Felt all their pain,
Seen every sunshine,
Tears inside the rain.
So many people,
Here inside the void,
All are happiness,
All are fear,
And all are paranoid.
So tell me why
There's so much hate,
I'll tell you why we lie,
Tell you everything in life
And kiss you while you die.
And if you ever laugh to hard,
Or cry to long inside,
Wonder, dream, or even feel,
I’ll tell you it’s a lie,
I'll tell you none of this is here,
That no one has survived.
So run and live inside your walls,
And close up tight your mind.
For gossamer wings are golden things,
And everyone is time.
