Madhuvan kitana shuna aur udas
Ho gaya hai,
Madhuvan
Kitana shuna aur udas
Ki vasant yaatei jo nahin yaasani she,
Khushbu mahaktin jo nahin,
Pangcchiyan udatin jo nahin yaasani she!
The sweet orchard how lonely and deserted
Has turned it into,
The sweet orchard
How lonely and deserted,
That come it not easily the spring,
That sweetness spreads it not,
The birds fly it not!
