Maga Crowd Poem by Randy McClave

Just a reminder to all the MAGA crowd
As you are screaming and applauding out loud,
You all are excited and are all cheering
From the news from the government you are hearing.
You are all enthralled and excited on the mass firings
And you don't care that there are no new hirings,
Those fired are the scientists and the Park rangers
The disabled veterans, humanitarians, civil servants helping us from dangers.
They are all human beings
Many of you have ignored or forgot the meanings,
Then when from their jobs they are said they are through
You laugh as you say, that will never happen to you.
They have bills also to maintain and pay
In life they were not ever given the easy way,
They were not born with or given a golden spoon
They could not place a lasso around the moon.
They're families who depend on them one and all
And you are excited that they got the termination letter and call.
Everyone of them took pride in their work
Now you treat them as if they are dirt.
Some were just getting started in their exciting career
Their fruitless and hard paths were now in their rear view mirror,
Up ahead they knew finally that their lives would be sunny
Losing a job and financial hardship is not funny.
Loosing a job is a pain and a calamity
It impacts every single member of the family,
It impacts self worth. It also impacts the economy
And the country surely knows who is certainly the real enemy.
Finding satisfaction in the indiscriminate firing of tens of thousands of Americans
At the hands of a privileged billionaire is not only cruel, it's unAmerican,
It's evil and cruel and it's egotism
This is not at all patriotism.
