Magenta Poem by Gail Hudson

Magenta

the tremendous feeling
of warmth and love
she recieved that night
was more than she had ever hoped for
it was the feeling that kept her from leaving
it kept her coming back
over and over again she returned
to the same face and the same conversations
but it was worth it for that one feeling
that she never felt
