The wind is such a natural thing
We give it little thought
Sometimes we don’t appreciate
How much the wind is sought

The energy it gives us
Fulfills our daily essentials
It’s only air in motion
But look at the potential

Let’s cherish all the windmills
As they stand majestically
Their resources are as important
As a strong and stately tree

So next time you flip a switch
Stop a moment to understand
Think how useful windmills are
As electricity is in such demand!
