Man I'M In The Can Poem by jodde taylor

Man I'M In The Can

Man I'm in the can
when the one person, I care for
is the one I'll never have.

It's a glorious thought
the sweet here and now;
But the one thing I wish for
is a brown little sow.

Complexity, is reality
Oh my; what a sensibility
But I can't escape the duality,
of a boy with such calamity.

Laughter, is his dimension
without strong suggestion;
like a swaying equestrian, he jumps! and fly's!

I make strong suggestions;
To a friendship I invested;
with all heart, I acquested him,
to sing, another day.

He's my lemonade!
a self made, addictive liquid;
Pouring from my equilibrium,
A once made original;
a swell kind, of individual.

Amazing and engaging!
Man I'm in the can!
Because he, is one outstanding man!
And I don't understand?
How he could, never make me sad!

Don't ever go down in a can!
You'll be drawn in, just like quick sand!
Below! Below! where the strangest things grow
And the snow petals fall!
In places of the unknown!

Man I'm in the can! aaaaaah! ....
