Man In The Moon Poem by Teresa Reck

Man In The Moon

The man in the moon watches over me
he tells me stories to make me laugh
the tales he can tell from long ago
as he travels the world on our behalf

Dont be afraid of his grumpy old face
his bark is worse than his bite
wrap a cloud around you for extra warmth
and make yourself comfortable for the night

He tells of battles fought and kingdoms won
shiny black horses carrying knights
kings and queens who have ruled the world
and jests to make you laugh into the night
