Man's Dreams Poem by RIC BASTASA

Man's Dreams

man wants a
landmark
man's dream has
always been
to build the tallest
tower
dreams of Babel
sonorous sounds
widget whispers
to justify
his inevitable
passing away
and he shall hear
a division of people
speaking in tongues
so strange to his
hearing.
