Man’s Head! Is Christ

Church members, when in one accord
Obey Salvation’s plan
Wherein; man’s head, is Christ the Lord
And that of woman, man!

When humble, is the husband’s soul
Through Christ; knows right from wrong
When unity, becomes his goal
And selfless love, his song

When flesh, lays low it’s greedy head
God’s truth will quench all thirst
Then when man’s self is finally dead
He’ll place God’s Son as first

Within, He’ll reign as Lord indeed
In joy, will hearts abound
Thus thriving, may Salvation’s seed
By all on earth be found

Yet Christ declined, to push and shove
Nor beat to force His wife
He’d showed to her through selfless love
By laying down His life

While unsaved men fall glory short
Still dancing Satan’s tune
Denying Jesus’ true report
They lead their wives to ruin

For how could darkness, guide the light?
How can a blind man see?
How can the feeble win Life’s fight?
How is a bound man free?

Beware to whom you pledge your hand
To whom your heart you give
Beware God’s child, and understand
With whom this life you live.
