Man That's Blue Poem by jodde taylor

Man That's Blue

It's blue when a wave
strikes against your eye's.

It's blue when another smile
cannot sustain your essence.

It's blue when the lights of stars
beam into my drowning wish.

It's blue to deny anything at all.

It's blue to search an empty street
breathing fire down way deep.

It's blue all over, like frozen rain
to know that life will never be the same.

What a drag! ..to say so long!

When all the world has been and gone!
the sense of gold, may seem strong!

But I would rather be blue,
waiting on another way, to see through
this endless navigation.

Finding that wave which returns
to take me away, to dream, to live
to rise again! ...falling over!

Dying in the heated palaces,
where only a deep foundation can jump!
where only a deep foundation can roll!

Knowing you never went away at all!
I'd rather be blue!

Man that's blue! ...
